Many of my customers need an office solution like Microsoft Office, but are turned off by the price. I have been installing OpenOffice.org for them and they love it! Quite often people will get a new computer from Dell, Gateway, etc.. and it will come with the Microsoft Office trial edition. So they go along for a couple months using it, not realizing that the trial period is going to run out and leave them having to buy an activation key to continue use. I am not a fan of this bait and switch tactic and it is something that irritates me to no end. I install OpenOffice - end of story. No more licensing issues, no more bait and switch trials.
